Where this project all began

In August 2010, I had a rather random idea that I would start writing a book. Thats right, me, perhaps the worst writer in the world, writing a book! Well, I admit when I first began I wasn't sure the project would actually go somewhere and so many times I think about the project and it seems simply impossible, but somehow I still feel like I'm heading the right direction.

So, About the Project:

The book is a compilation of interviews and ideas from extraordinary people that are following their hearts, and achieving their dreams. My job, simply to act as a liaison - piecing together this mysterious puzzle that somehow is supposed to offer guidance on how to achieve your dreams.

What I've done so far:

CONTACT! Well, I have been working extremely hard to make contacts to interview and include in my book, telling as many people as possible about this project and hoping upon hope that someone will have some idea where to go next, who to call next, which dead end can actually lead to something real. I began the project, by interviewing Brett Snyder of the Cranky Flier Blog (you can find his work at www.crankyflier.com), because Brett and I share a similar passion - the airline industry. Brett is very well versed in the industry, and really knows his topics - he is by all means a classic example of a man who has forsaken a normal lifestyle in pursuit of his dreams. As i move forward, I'd love to hear your ideas for people to interview & suggestions on how to further enhance the project.

Why Blog?

Actually, I never planned on writing a blog about this project, then a friend of mine (David Avari) suggested that I begin writing a blog to keep those who are interested posted on the book's progress. Not only does blogging offer some great networking opportunities, I think it is a very good way for me to keep everyone informed about developments.

Well, thats a pretty good summary of the project - I'll actually start writing about the project tomorrow!
